Before joining LUMS in 2008, he was a postdoctoral researcher first on the University of Pennsylvania after which at McGill University. He has received fellowships or held visiting professorial positions at different high institutes together with the University of Oxford, International Center for Theoretical Physics and King Abdullah University of Science & Technology . His current pursuits are on the intersection of setting, technology, and society; masking subjects associated to hydro-informatics, precision agriculture, robotics and the impacts of synthetic intelligence on society. The lab will develop skilled manpower via scientific analysis to supply world class MEMS experts having expertise in design and testing to provide world class R&D in MEMS and provoke commercial activities on this space in Pakistan.
